In 2010, after speaking with various business owners in
the area, the common issue that each one of them had was being able to
communicate with people in Hutto. One business owner said that she had
been in Hutto for almost a year and the comment she heard most from people on
the street was "I didn't know you were there!"
Thus came The Vision for The Hutto Express. We needed a way to "tap a person on the shoulder" and communicate to them. Other forms of media and advertising just passed them by. In this busy world, the only way to get their attention is to "tap them on the shoulder".
Businesses, organizations, churches and such could, for a nominal fee, deliver their communication to the doorknob of the people in Hutto and "tap them on the shoulder".
